WIMBLEDON
The extensive remodel and glass addition of a Victorian single-family home in Wimbledon Village, London, was inspired by the clients’ artistic tastes and careers in the music industry.
The key design challenge was reconciling the historic 19th century architectural details with contrasting modern elements necessary for adapting the space for 21st century use. The solution was to marry them through the use of a bold and unexpected color palette and rich materials.
Full-scale services included space planning, interior architectural design, finish and fixture specifications, and custom millwork design. Completed in collaboration with Minale + Mann.
